Hey everybody. And welcome back to honest HR. This is Callie, your host of the podcast. Wanted to take just a couple of minutes to give you an update. You've probably noticed that we've been MIA for the last couple of weeks, and I wanted to give you some background as to why.
We had a couple of vacations on our side, getting ready for fall and closing out summer. We did take a little bit of time off and we also have some good news for Deanna. She took a HR manager role and is no longer with Sherm. We're really excited for her. And really can't wait to have her back as a guest to tell us about her new endeavor. As I said, she's an HR manager, that's a step up for her and her career. And we're really proud of her. And again, we can't wait to have her come back as a guest on Honest HR in the future.
That does mean that I will be your one and only host for the foreseeable future, I guess. We're looking in to see how this changes things at Honest HR, but we're still excited to bring you guests and topics that you are interested in. We've had a lot of feedback and we've heard from a lot of you, and I'm excited to say that we have a ton of topics and guests coming down the pipeline for you. We have people coming from all organizations and all industries, really. And they're going to talk about things like personal development, navigating, having access to HR information and trying to not use it against people.
We're going to talk about some career choices as well as education choices. Bachelor's degree versus master's degree. We're going to talk to a military veteran. I'm excited about that one too .but as you can hear, we have a lot coming at you. Again, I'm excited that you've stuck around. I apologize for the delay here in getting you guys an update, but I'm excited to see where we're continuing to go with Honest HR and we hope that you'll come back for next week's episode.
