Callie Zipple:
Hey everybody. It's Callie Zippel, your host for Honest HR, giving you an update on where we're at. So we wanted to let you know that we are ending season one with last week's episode, wanted to thank you all for being part of a great journey so far. We're calling it season one, because apparently that's a thing that podcasts have is seasons. And so we're closing out season one and in a little bit, I'll give you an update on what you can expect for season two, because yes, we're coming back. I'm excited about it. You're going to be excited to hear some of the topics and things that we're thinking about for season two of Honest HR.
But first, again, I want to thank everybody that's made this such an incredible experience for me and our listeners and our guests. For those of you that have shared posts on social media, either sharing what SHRM put out there or sharing your own experiences with Honest HR, thank you. You've helped us get the word out and created a listener base for us, which has been a very humbling experience. But also want to thank those who have reached out to me directly. So I've gotten a lot of personal notes from people saying thank you for putting out the content and just thank you for having these conversations and inviting us into them. And I want to thank you guys for giving me such great feedback and praise, and for those that were a little bit more harsh, I appreciate you too. We like the feedback, we learn from it, and we're certainly going to do some things different in season two based on what we've heard from you.
Also want to thank all of our wonderful guests from season one. We had some wonderful conversations. We got real. I shared some things which I wasn't preparing to do, but I'm happy that I did because it resonated with people that needed to hear it at the time that they did. So I'm excited for that. I hope you guys felt the authenticity that we brought to the conversations, both from a guest perspective and from myself. So again, I'm, I'm thrilled with where season one ended up and I'm excited again to mention that season two will be something that we will be bringing you actually in March.
So we're going to take a little bit of time off, but we will come back starting in March, and with season two, we're going to move to an every other week structure. So we want to make sure that we're honing in on good content, good guests, making sure that we're listening to our listeners and getting you guys what you want. So you can expect new topics from us, such as authenticity, which is a buzzword, but certainly something that's near and dear to my heart. Going to talk about job hopping, which if you've looked at my LinkedIn profile or have seen my resume, you know that, again, is near and dear to my heart. Strategic planning for human resources, heard that from a listener, wants to talk a little bit more about how we can strategically plan for success in our own human resources departments, and then the ever popular department of one. We're going to continue that conversation, talk about it a little bit more because it seems to be very much what you guys are looking for.
So those are just some topics that you can expect from season two conversations. We're going to have new guests, but we're also going to bring some of your favorite guests back. So look for returnees, look for new guests. Obviously I'm hoping that you've noticed that we're bringing you better audio. Again, we've had some great feedback and some of it was on our execution. And so we're looking to elevate that a little bit and hope that you can hear that based on this recording here today. But season two is really going to be something that we want to cater to you. So don't forget to reach out to me directly, kelly.zippel@shrm.org, Callie Zippel on LinkedIn, shrmKellyz on Twitter and Instagram. I want to make sure that you all know that we have the shrm.org/honesthr website as well. We've gotten a lot of topics and guest suggestions via that website, but I want to make sure that you all go out there and subscribe so that you know exactly when we're coming back in March. But please know again, that that's your mechanism to interact with us.
And one of the other topics that we're going to be talking about in season two is actually from entry level to next level, if you will. And that came straight out from a suggestion on the Honest HR website. So again, we hear you and we want those to keep coming in because we want season two to be all about you and the HR professionals that find this podcast helpful. So make sure that you're interacting with our social media posts too, from a SHRM perspective, share, like, comment, get everybody knowing about Honest HR so that we can make season two bigger and badder and just great. I'm happy to be here, happy to have this platform, and I'm happy for you guys all to come along with it. And I will see you for season two of Honest HR in March. Thanks everybody.
